Senjutsu is the seventeenth studio album by Iron Maiden, released in 2021 and its first in six years following The Book of Souls. The band recorded it at the Guillaume Tell Studio in Paris with longtime producer Kevin Shirley, with Steve Harris co-producing. Across a running time of well over eighty minutes it alternates direct songs such as Stratego and The Writing on the Wall with long, sprawling compositions like Death of the Celts and the closing Hell on Earth. The samurai theme of the title returns in Mark Wilkinson's cover art, based on an idea by Steve Harris.
