Hybrid Theory is the debut studio album by American band Linkin Park, originally released in 2000. The album combines nu metal and rock with rap, electronica and the dual vocals of Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda. Well-known tracks are "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "In the End" and "Papercut", with lyrics about inner struggle, anger and alienation. The album grew into one of the best-selling debut albums in its genre.
