Little Simz released No Thank You in late 2022 with almost no announcement, a little over a year after her acclaimed Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. Inflo, her regular collaborator, produced the entire album, which pairs sharp lyrics about the music industry and personal reckonings with soul and gospel arrangements. Tracks such as 'Gorilla', 'Silhouette' and 'Heart On Fire' set the tone.
