The System Has Failed started life as a Dave Mustaine solo record and ended up as Megadeth's tenth studio album, originally from 2004. It is the first release after Mustaine recovered from the nerve damage in his left arm that temporarily left him unable to play guitar in 2002. Former guitarist Chris Poland played the solos as a session musician without rejoining the band, and co-founder David Ellefson is absent here for the first time. 'Die Dead Enough', 'Kick the Chair' and 'Blackmail the Universe' are the best known songs. This edition is an LP.
