Ballbreaker, originally released in 1995, brought drummer Phil Rudd back into the band for the first time since the early 1980s. For production AC/DC teamed up with Rick Rubin, who had earlier produced the single 'Big Gun' for the soundtrack of The Last Action Hero. The sessions were difficult and drawn out, but the result is a heavy, slow groove that stays close to the band's blues roots. 'Hard As A Rock', 'Hail Caesar' and the title track are among the best-known cuts.
