Flick Of The Switch, originally released in 1983, brought AC/DC back to a rawer, stripped-down approach. After the success of For Those About To Rock, the Young brothers took production entirely into their own hands and cut the studio gloss back to the bone. It is the last album with drummer Phil Rudd before he disappeared from the picture for years. The title track 'Flick Of The Switch', 'Nervous Shakedown' and 'Guns For Hire' turn on short, hard riffs with no frills, with Brian Johnson firmly at the helm.
