Authorized Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the American rock band Cheap Trick, originally released in 2000. The collection covers the band's years on the Epic label and contains eighteen songs, including the live versions of 'I Want You To Want Me' and 'Ain't That A Shame' from the famous 1978 Budokan concert in Tokyo. It also features hits and favourites such as 'Surrender', 'Dream Police', 'She's Tight' and the ballad 'The Flame', an American number 1 hit in 1988. Cheap Trick, from Rockford, Illinois, has combined power pop with hard rock since the 1970s, around singer Robin Zander and guitarist Rick Nielsen. 'That '70s Song' later became known as the theme tune of the television series That '70s Show.
