Live at the Shoals Theatre captures a concert bringing Mike Cooley, Patterson Hood and Jason Isbell to the stage together, the three songwriters who shaped the Drive-By Truckers. In an acoustic setting they moved through songs from the band's repertoire and from Isbell's solo work, including "Outfit", "Decoration Day", "Cover Me Up" and "Alabama Pines". The recording gathers their intertwined catalogue into a single evening.
