White Pony is the third studio album by American band Deftones, released on June 20, 2000 through Maverick Records. The album was produced by Terry Date and recorded by vocalist Chino Moreno, guitarist Stephen Carpenter, bassist Chi Cheng and drummer Abe Cunningham, joined by Frank Delgado on turntables and keyboards, who became a full member of the band with this album. Compared to earlier albums, the band moved toward a more atmospheric and melodic sound, blending shoegaze and dream pop influences with their established nu-metal elements. The track Passenger is a duet with Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle. White Pony also includes tracks such as Digital Bath, Elite and Change (In the House of Flies).
