On The Eminem Show, originally released in 2002, Eminem took on most of the production himself, with guitar loops and drums that sat closer to rock than Dr. Dre's work on his earlier albums. The themes moved with it: 'Cleanin' Out My Closet' is about his mother, 'Hailie's Song' about his daughter, and 'White America' about his position as a white rapper in a Black genre. 'Without Me' became the big single, 'Sing for the Moment' leans on a sample of Aerosmith's 'Dream On', and 'Till I Collapse' later grew into one of his most played tracks. It was the best-selling album of 2002 worldwide and won him the Grammy for Best Rap Album again.
