Mind Games was John Lennon's fourth solo album and originally came out in the autumn of 1973 on Apple Records. It was the first album he produced himself, without Phil Spector, recorded at the Record Plant in New York with a group of session musicians he named the Plastic U.F.Ono Band. Alongside the title track there are political songs such as Bring On the Lucie (Freda Peeple) and the three seconds of silence that make up Nutopian International Anthem, with which Lennon and Yoko Ono announced their imaginary country Nutopia. The album reached number 9 in the United States and number 13 in the United Kingdom.
This edition is a 2-LP, with the album in its original mix and in the Ultimate Mix.
