Around the Sun is R.E.M.'s thirteenth studio album, originally released in 2004, seven years after drummer Bill Berry left the band. The trio went for a slow, restrained production built on keyboards rather than guitars. Leaving New York was the first single, followed by Aftermath, Electron Blue, and Wanderlust. On The Outsiders, Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest takes the closing verse. This edition is a 2-LP.
