Eponymous is a compilation that I.R.S. Records originally released in 1988, shortly after R.E.M. had left for Warner Bros. The selection reaches for alternative versions: the original Hib-Tone single of Radio Free Europe, a different vocal take of Gardening At Night, and the Mutual Drum Horn Mix of Finest Worksong. The two sides are titled Early and Late and run from the band's first I.R.S. recordings to The One I Love and It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine). This edition is an LP.
