Who Are You is the last album The Who recorded with Keith Moon; the drummer died three weeks after its release in 1978. Townshend pushed his synthesisers to the front, with 'Music Must Change' and the near-orchestral 'Guitar and Pen' as the extremes, while Entwistle contributed two songs of his own in '905' and 'Trick of the Light'. The title track, written after a long night in Soho during which Townshend fell asleep in a doorway and was woken by a policeman, became one of the band's best-known songs. The album originally appeared in 1978 on Polydor; 2025 brought an expanded reissue with new mixes by Steven Wilson and more than seventy previously unreleased recordings. This edition is a 4-LP from that deluxe edition.
