Sonic Youth pulled back after the noise of Dirty. Experimental Jet Set, Trash And No Star, the band's eighth studio album, was originally released in 1994 on DGC Records and sounds drier and sparer than its predecessor. Opening track 'Winner's Blues' is a rough acoustic fragment, single 'Bull In The Heather' came with a video of Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill dancing, and short, sharp songs such as 'Screaming Skull' and 'Androgynous Mind' alternate with the sprawling closer 'Sweet Shine'. The album reached number 34 on the Billboard 200. This edition is an LP.
