Walls Have Ears was put together from three British shows from 1985 and came out in 1986 as a double LP without the band's consent; Sonic Youth had it withdrawn from sale. The band eventually released the album themselves in 2024 on Goofin' Records. It catches the group between Bad Moon Rising and EVOL, with 'Brother James', 'Death Valley '69', 'Ghost Bitch' and 'Expressway To Yr. Skull', and with tape fragments and noise between the songs that turn the recording into a collage rather than a straight live document. This edition is a 2-LP.
