Goo took Sonic Youth to major label DGC without taming the guitars. The sixth studio album originally came out in 1990 and opens with 'Dirty Boots'; further in, Kim Gordon sings 'Tunic (Song For Karen)' from Karen Carpenter's point of view and Chuck D of Public Enemy joins in on 'Kool Thing'. The sleeve is a Raymond Pettibon drawing based on a press photograph from the British Moors murders case, and it has been imitated many times since. This edition is an LP.
