Powerage is regarded by aficionados as one of AC/DC's most underrated albums — Eddie Van Halen and Keith Richards both named it their favourite AC/DC album. The fifth studio album originally came out in 1978 on Atlantic Records and was recorded early that year at Albert Studios in Sydney. It is the first album with bassist Cliff Williams, and its sound is rawer and more blues-driven than the later hits, with 'Rock 'n' Roll Damnation', 'Sin City' and 'Riff Raff' among the highlights.
