Nothing But the Blues gathers live recordings from 1994, made on the tour behind From the Cradle, the album on which Eric Clapton returned fully to the blues repertoire of Muddy Waters, Elmore James, and Freddie King. It includes "Five Long Years", "Crossroads", "Have You Ever Loved a Woman", and a drawn-out "Reconsider Baby". The recordings belong to the documentary of the same name, broadcast on American television in 1995 and nominated for an Emmy, with Martin Scorsese as executive producer.
