After the enormous success of Rumours, Fleetwood Mac deliberately avoided doing more of the same. Tusk, originally released in 1979, became a double album of twenty songs, recorded in a purpose-built studio in Los Angeles and notorious for what that cost. Lindsey Buckingham took charge of the sharpest and barest material, while Stevie Nicks with 'Sara' and 'Sisters Of The Moon' and Christine McVie with 'Think About Me' and 'Honey Hi' stayed closer to the familiar band sound. The title track was recorded with the University of Southern California marching band. The album sold millions of copies, but next to Rumours it was long seen as a commercial disappointment.
This edition is a 2-LP on transparent green vinyl.
