Archives, Vol. 1 (1963-1967): Highlights is a selection from the first box in Joni Mitchell's archive series, drawing on recordings from her earliest years, before she made her debut album. It gathers early coffee-house and radio sessions, home demos and concert tapes from Canada and the United States. Alongside her own songs, such as a fledgling 'Both Sides Now' and 'The Circle Game', there are traditionals and covers. The compilation traces how the young Mitchell developed as a folk singer.
This edition is an LP on black vinyl (Record Store Day).
