Magic originally arrived on Christmas Eve 2021 as a surprise release, nine tracks long and produced entirely by Hit-Boy, part of the same run of collaborations as the King's Disease albums. It is a short, compact album built on sharp drums and soul samples. "Wave Gods" brings A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier together, while "Speechless" and "Ugly" leave Nas on his own. Two sequels followed, Magic 2 and Magic 3, both from 2023. This edition is an LP on green and black vinyl.
