Queen I is the fully remixed and expanded 2024 version of the self-titled debut album, which originally appeared in 1973. Brian May, Roger Taylor and the production team restored the running order the band had intended — with the previously dropped Mad The Swine back in its place — and gave the Trident Studios and De Lane Lea recordings their first-ever new stereo mix. Brian May wrote of the project: "This is not just a remaster, this is a brand new 2024 rebuild of the entire Queen debut album." Alongside the album itself, the release gathers demos, studio fragments, BBC sessions and early live recordings, including material from Queen's first London show in 1970. At its core is the early, hard-rock-driven Queen of Keep Yourself Alive, Liar and Seven Seas Of Rhye.
