My Generation is The Who's debut album, originally released in the UK in December 1965 through Brunswick. Producer Shel Talmy, who had recently worked with The Kinks, recorded the band at IBC Studios in London. The title track, with Roger Daltrey's stuttering vocal and John Entwistle's bass part, reached number two on the UK singles chart. The album also includes The Kids Are Alright, A Legal Matter and the instrumental The Ox, alongside covers of James Brown (I Don't Mind, Please Please Please) and Bo Diddley (I'm a Man). In the United States the album was titled The Who Sings My Generation and came with a different cover.

This edition is an LP on red vinyl, the National Album Day edition.
