Dirty Computer is the third studio album by the American artist Janelle Monáe, released in 2018. The record arrived alongside a narrative film of the same name and forms a conceptual whole around themes of identity, sexuality and self-acceptance. Musically, Monáe blends funk, pop, R&B and hip-hop into a colourful, infectious sound indebted to Prince, among others. Well-known tracks include Make Me Feel, Pynk, Django Jane and I Like That, with guest contributions from Brian Wilson, Grimes and Zoë Kravitz. Dirty Computer is widely regarded as one of the most ambitious and personal works of her career.
