Talking Heads: 77 is the debut album by the American band Talking Heads, released in 1977. The group consisted of David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison and is counted among early new wave and art punk. The album is characterised by tight, nervous rhythms and Byrne's distinctive vocals. Its best-known track is 'Psycho Killer', with its partly French lyrics and recognisable bassline.
