Black Ice, originally released in 2008, was AC/DC's first album in eight years and, with fifteen tracks, immediately the longest in their catalogue. Producer Brendan O'Brien steered the band back to tight, bluesy hard rock with no modern gloss. Opening single 'Rock N Roll Train' became a fixture of the live set, alongside heavy tracks like 'Big Jack' and 'War Machine'. In the United States the album was sold exclusively through Walmart at the time, and it still reached number 1 in a large number of countries.
